Salsa Festival in Cuba 2025
From February 19 to 23, 2025, the ninth edition of the Salsa Festival in Cuba will be held, the only one of its kind in our country, with the intention of unifying the national and international public in the same space; where authentic Cuban music and its popular dances can be breathed, from the emergence of both manifestations in their historical development to the present; rescuing our musical and dance roots, projecting in each presentation a high-level aesthetic in correspondence with the demands of today’s world. You can enjoy several sessions of dance workshops; parties in the hotel pool where the event activities will take place; as well as other optional activities during the days of the Festival. 13 national orchestras and 3 international artists will participate, special guests (Pedrito Martínez, Brunela and Daniela Darcourt from Peru); leading exponents of Cuban music and salsa as a musical genre; national and international DJs, who defend Cuban music; journalists from national and international media, among others; who collaborate with this initiative that contributes to the development of Cuban music.
For the first time in this edition, international dance schools are invited to perform with high choreographic and stage rigor on the prestigious stage of the Event. The selection of the participation of these academies will be made under the responsibility of the renowned international master of artistic dance, “Maikel Fonts.”
